Our invoices are payable in cash and without discount upon receipt, or by draft after prior agreement exclusively and before the due date of the invoice. Otherwise, late penalties will be due. The rate of these penalties is 20% per year, with a minimum of 100 euros. In the event of a dispute, the Commercial Court of our head office has sole jurisdiction. In the event of non-payment, the seller may terminate the sale as of right and without warning, by sending a simple registered letter.

Transportation

All deliveries are subject to these conditions of sale and written confirmation of the order. Unless expressly agreed, the delay in the delivery times cannot give rise to compensation or cancellation of the order and in particular in the following cases:
• The terms of payment have not been observed;
• Case of force majeure or event capable of delaying or suspending the delivery of the goods.
We use packaging specially designed for transport. However, our wines, even agreed free, travel at the risk and peril of the recipient, to whom it belongs, in the event of damage or loss, to make all reservations and to exercise any recourse with the carriers, who are solely responsible, by registered letter. with acknowledgment of receipt within 48 hours.

Delivery

The delivery cannot exceed 30 days from the validation of the order. If this period is exceeded, the customer can cancel the order by email and obtain a refund. Outside the delivery area, contact us so that we can find a solution.
Packages are generally delivered in 3 to 5 working days via UPS from the dispatch of the order.
Bad weather such as snow or violent storms, carrier strikes or the absence of order confirmation constitute delays in delivery beyond our control and cannot engage our responsibility.

Conservation

The champagne must be kept lying down in a cool place, away from light. The conservation of the foam depends in fact on this constant position of the bottles. We use top quality cork stoppers and, after corking for a certain time, they no longer return to their initial shape: this does not affect the quality of the champagne.

Service

Champagne should be served chilled, but not iced. The ideal temperature is 8°C to 10°C. It is necessary to avoid the prolonged stay in the refrigerator, which would break the wine. Claim

Any complaints concerning the quality of the goods, excluding any transport dispute, must be made in writing within eight days of delivery by R.A.R.
No return of goods may be made without our written consent, this consent not implying any recognition.
The goods remain the property of Champagne Jean Michel until full payment has been made.
The exchange risk is borne by the buyer.
Any re-export of our wines, whatever the country, is prohibited.
